Scars and the stories they tell…

I think there is something beautiful about a scar. It’s a badge of honor…it says “healing took place here”.

I started this project as I do with so many things, not knowing what I was doing or getting into. As each scar came to me and the person and story behind it, I was humbled by their trust, vunerability and courage and then I witnessed even more healing.
